    What options do you offer ?

    All options are available on our hosting page, Please feel free to browse there.

    Are there setup fees?

    There is no setup fee.

    Will you advertise on my website ?

    No. We will not advertise on your website. Only links from your website will be if we have placeholder for you or if Free website is not setup yet or if you choose to add a link to us. Your website is your property.

    What if more space or bandwidth is required ?

    If you need additional space or bandwidth we recommend upgrading your hosting plan for the best value, if you do not wish to upgrade we will happily work with you to resolve the issue.

    I have my own SSL certificate can you install it for me?

    Absolutely. SSL certificates require there own dedicated I.P which are available for R 20.00 per month, the installation of the SSL certificate is free.

    Do you do regular backups ?

    Yes, but it is very important that you do also. We make every effort but cannot guarantee that the backup will be complete or available.

    Where can I view the account information ?

    All account information is sent in your welcome email. It can also be viewed via our Billing System.If you have lost your welcome email you can contact our support team for another to be sent. To view via our Billing System you can go to "My Packages" and click the current hosting package you are on for more details.

    Can you install my programs and scripts for me ?

    We will help the best we can, but cannot garuantee anything, best is to ask the creator of the scripts or programs to do this for you.

    Can you install custom Perl modules for us ?

    Yes. Please contact our support team with your request.

    Do you offer script or webdesign support ?

    We are willing to help but cannot guarantee that we will resolve the issue. We recommend asking the creator of the script for help for this type of issue.

    What is the path to Ruby?

    The path to Ruby on our servers is /usr/local/bin/ruby , remember to update files dispatch.rb, dispatch.fcgi and dispatch.cgi located in the public folder with this information.

    Where is Fantastico?

    Fantastico is located in your cPanel control panel, it's right at the bottom (look for the blue smiley!)

    Answers Domain Names

    Can I purchase my domain through you ?

    Yes we can do registration for you the option and pricing is available when purchasing a hosting package with us. All domains are registered in your name and can be transferred at any time.

    Difference between Addon Domain, Sub Domain and Parked Domain ?

    An add-on domain is just like having a separate web site. The add-on domain will be hosted or pointed to a folder in your public_html folder of your main-domain. The Add-on domain should be already registered and the nameservers for the add-on domain should be pointing the same nameserves as your main-domain.com. A sub domain utilises the existing main domain name. It does not have its own domain name. A sub domain points to a folder in your public_html directory of your main-domain. Consider you main domain " main-domain.com" and you have a folder "shop" under your public_html directory. You can create a sub domain "shop.main-domain.com ". You can directly reach the shop page by accessing "shop.main-domain.com". You might have seen "mail.yahoo.com", " mail.google.com" A parked domain is one which simply points to an existing domain. It is an other domain which is parked on to the main domain. Consider a domain " parked.com" which is parked on the "main-domain.com". If we access parked.com it will be directed to the main-domain.com and you will get the same page as you see while accessing main-domain.com. The parked domain should also point to the same nameservers as the main-domain.com. The park domain name should be registered.

    Can I buy a domain without hosting it at you ?

    Only if you already have a hosting package and want to park or use the domain name as a add-on domain can register it for you, but we cannot just do registration, sorry.

    Can I register a new domain name as I place my order ?

    Absolutely, when you choose the package you would like, the next step will have the option to register a new domain or use an existing one.

    Do I need to have a domain name picked out and registered before I submit my order?

    We can register your domain for you with your order.

    What does the 30 day money back gaurantee mean ?

    The 30 day full money back guarantee means that in 30 days if you are not satisfied with our service we will give you a full hosting refund. Please note that Domain name charges (registration, transfers and renewal) will not be refunded as these are 3rd party systems and does not include our hosting. We will only refund your hosting fee.

    Can I pay by Bank Transfer?

    Bank Transfers are allowed and preferred. You will receive the banking information on your statement. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

    How do I cancel my account?

    We are truly sorry to see you go!
    Here is a step by step guide to canceling your account.

    1. Backup your files as all files will be deleted as soon as you cancel your account.
    2. If you have a debit order remember to cancel it.
    3. Submit a help desk ticket to Cancellation Requests.

    How can I access my emails ?

    You can access your email by going to http://webmail.yourdomain.com/ or http://yourdomain.com/webmail/
    Note that you had to create your e-mail address first on your domain via the Control Panel.
    You can do this by http://yourdomain.com/cpanel/

    How can I create a email account for my domain ?

    Login to your websites control panel via http://yourdomain.com/cpanel and click add/remove email account's.

    I can receive mail but it will not send

    With some Internet service providers sending large mail struggles while the small mail works. You can or try to use the service provides smtp server (you must contact them for this detail) or alternatively try and change the outgoing mail servers port to 26 and see if that helps. Feel free to contact us if you still struggle and we will assist you.

    What is a good free FTP client?

    We recommend FileZilla you can download it at : http://filezilla-project.org/

    Where can I find my login details for the ftp account ?

    Your login details are sent through your welcome email. The cPanel login name and password provided in your email are what you need to login to your ftp. Your password can be changed through the cPanel control panel. If you have lost your welcome email you can contact our support team for another welcome email to be sent.

    To what folder must I upload the webpage to OR why cant I upload any more files , it stops me ?

    The correct folder is the public_html folder. Can login but can't upload? If you are still experiencing problems you may have run out of disk space.

    Answers MySQL Database administration

    How to create a MySQL database ?

    Login to your cPanel and click MySQL Databases. First you must create a user and a database and then assign the database to the user.

    How to do a backup of the MySQL database ?

    Login to your cPanel and click MySQL Databases, then click phpmyadmin located at the bottom of the page.

    Once in phpmyadmin click export.

    On this screen you can see a list of your databases. If you wish to backup one database simply click the database you would like to backup, for multiple databases hold down the "ctrl" key on the keyboard and select them by clicking the mouse. To select all click the select all button located on the screen.

    The default SQL options given do not need to be changed to restore your database on the server at a later date.

    To save your file click the "save as file" option.

    How to do a restore of the MySQL database ?

    Login to your cPanel and click MySQL Databases, then click phpmyadmin located at the bottom of the page.

    Once in phpmyadmin the easiest way is to open the query window by clicking this icon MySQL

    Then using the menu at the top, click "Import Files", then browse for the database file you wish to upload.

    If your database is using a different MySQL version, receive a time out error or experience problems uploading you can contact our support team to change the database to work on the server.
